Annasaheb Jolle
Mr. Annasaheb Jolle is a prominent entrepreneur and visionary leader in the finance sector of Karnataka. He plays a crucial role in providing strategic direction and partnership for the company.
Annasaheb Jolle is the visionary founder of Shri Beereshwar Co-Op Credit Society Ltd (Multi-State) in Examba, a leading financial institution that has transformed small and medium businesses across various states in India. With a strong belief in empowering individuals and enterprises, Annasaheb established this financial institution to promote trust, transparency, and accessibility. Founded in 1991, the institution now boasts 224 branches throughout India and has a deposit base of ₹4,100 crores, impacting over four lakh individuals and entities.
He is dedicated to empowering rural youth, women, and marginalized communities. Through Amulya Microfinance, he has supported over 550,000 women and founded various organizations, including Jyoti Multipurpose Sahakari and Amruta Self-Help Groups. He currently serves as a director of DCC Bank and is a board member of several businesses, previously chairing the Karnataka Oil Federation (KOF).

Dr. Ishwar V. Hegde
Foundation & Leadership
Dr. Ishwar Hegde is the Co-founder and Managing Director of the company, where he leads the growth strategy and develops large renewable energy assets for independent power producers (IPPs), corporations, and utilities. He is driving the company’s mission to become one of India’s largest pure-play renewable energy developers. With over 25 years of experience across various industries, Dr. Hegde is a thought leader in renewable energy and possesses expertise in corporate strategy, business intelligence and analytics, market research, global marketing, and business development. Throughout his career, he has partnered with CEOs and executive leadership teams to identify profitable growth opportunities and foster performance-oriented organizations.
Corporate Track Record
Before co-founding Sunfan, Dr. Hegde led global marketing and strategy at Suzlon Group, which was then the world’s fifth-largest wind turbine manufacturer, boasting over 15,000 MW of installed capacity across 20 countries. Additionally, he served as Chief Economist for the $39 billion Essar Group for over five years, developing and implementing growth strategies for the steel, power, and oil sectors.

Dr. Ishwar Hegde is a gold medalist with a Ph.D. in Economics. He taught and conducted at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) in New Delhi. He has consulted for organizations like the World Bank and the Commonwealth Secretariat. Dr. Hegde is involved with several national and international organizations, including the World Economic Forum, IEA, IPCC, GWEC, CII, FICCI, and the Government of India.
Social Innovation
He has also founded Aitahub to create a machine learning-enabled job readiness engine, helping aspiring individuals from lower-tier cities and towns with diverse educational backgrounds to pursue AI careers.
Basavprasad Jolle
Basavprasad Jolle is a new-generation business leader driving funding and growth marketing initiatives at Sunfan. He is focused on building industry networks and partnerships to unlock the company’s growth potential. With a strong passion for financial innovation and disruptive business models in the clean energy sector, he is transforming Sunfan into a customer-centric organization.
In addition to his leadership role at Sunfan, Basavprasad serves as a Director for several Jolle Group companies, including Jolle Hospitality and Magnumtuff India Private Limited.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Basavprasad actively participates in community development initiatives focused on providing sustainable energy access.
His extensive exposure to global business practices, gained through participation in the SP Jain Global Management Program in Singapore and Australia, alongside an international degree in Business and Management, has significantly shaped his ambition to position Sunfan as the fastest-growing company in the renewable energy sector.
