Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager – Renewables (EPC Business) will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new EPC contracts for solar and wind power projects. This role requires a strong understanding of the renewable energy EPC market, excellent sales and client relationship management skills, and the ability to articulate Sunfan Energy’s EPC value proposition to potential clients, including project developers, IPPs, and large industrial & commercial entities.
Qualifications:
- MBA / PGDM from a reputable institution is mandatory.
- B.E / B. Tech in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy).
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in business development, sales, or key account management roles, with a demonstrable focus on EPC services within the renewable energy, power, or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven track record of identifying and qualifying new business opportunities and contributing to sales closures.
- Strong understanding of the EPC business model, project development lifecycle for solar and wind power, and key contract types (e.g., fixed-price, LSTK).
- Knowledge of India’s renewable energy market dynamics, competitive landscape for EPC players, and relevant policies/regulations.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, proactive, and capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel).
- Willingness to travel extensively as required across India.
