Job Summary: The Manager – Power Purchase Agreements (Solar & Wind) will be responsible for originating, negotiating, and securing long-term Power Purchase Agreements for Sunfan Energy’s solar and wind power projects. This role requires a deep understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, commercial negotiation skills, and the ability to structure PPAs that align with project economics and strategic growth objectives.
Qualifications:
- MBA / PGDM from a reputable institution is mandatory.
- B.E / B. Tech Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in power purchase, PPA origination, commercial operations, or business development roles within the renewable energy (solar, wind, or hybrid) or power sector.
- Demonstrable experience in negotiating commercial contracts, preferably PPAs.
- Strong understanding of electricity markets, regulatory frameworks (CERC/SERC regulations), and policy landscape governing renewable energy in India.
- Familiarity with financial modeling concepts, IRR analysis, and key project finance metrics related to PPA evaluation.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of managing complex commercial processes.
- Willingness to travel frequently as required.
