Job Summary: The Wind Civil Engineer will be responsible for supporting and overseeing all civil engineering aspects unique to wind power projects, from detailed design review and site preparation to the construction of wind turbine foundations, heavy haul roads, and other essential balance of plant (BOP) civil infrastructure. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, to the highest quality standards, and in adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Qualifications:
- B.E / B. Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in civil construction and project execution, with significant experience directly in wind power projects, heavy industrial projects, or large-scale infrastructure projects involving significant earthwork and heavy foundations.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and quality control procedures specific to wind farms.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and working knowledge of other relevant civil engineering software (e.g., for structural analysis, quantity surveying) is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant Indian Standards (IS Codes) related to civil construction, concrete, soil mechanics, and structural design.
- Proven ability to manage and supervise complex civil works on site, manage contractors, and ensure project execution as per plan.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to travel frequently and work in challenging site conditions across India.
